Brown had the freedom to go into detail, which is exactly what makes the book stand out.
The movie cannot do that for numerous reasons such as time and cost.
However, both keep the reader or viewer at the edge of their seats and, at least make you wonder if you went to school with Jesus’ offspring.
The movie has a plus though. Tom Hanks haircut!
