Thomas Nast History Fair?

Im doing a history fair project on Thomas Nast. =)
I’ve been through a lot of his old art, gone through some books, even checked wikipedia to see if there were any resource websites listed at the bottom that i could use.
I still feel short on imformation and i was wondering if anyone knew some random facts about him. I may not be able to use your words, but maybe something you say will help me find something else.
