I just finished it earlier this morning and I was very impressed. I actually do enjoy all three books. I became very involved with the historical facts and legends revolving around the city in which this book takes place. I enjoyed the suspense and plot turns. Every aspect of the book, even the end, fulfilled my expectations.
If you are a Dan Brown fan than I would recommend you read this despite reviews. For the most part I couldn’t put it down. I love all his books, and there is no problem going from one book to another considering non of them are connected. Robert Langdon does appear in two other books, but they are all three separate events.

I really The Lost Symbol, and I also enjoyed his previous books as well. This book definitely had very high expectations from everyone, but overall it was a solid read.
It was the first time I actually read anything on an eBook reader. Well it was actually on my Blackberry, I used an app called Shortcovers. Definitely cool! you guys should check it out.

I have been noticing a pattern.
Anyone who said they liked The Da Vinci Code more than Angels & Demons seems to dislike The Lost Symbol.
But people who preferred Angels & Demons to The Da Vinci Code seems to have enjoyed this book.
Personally Angels & Demons was my favorite book up until I read this one. The Lost Symbol is now my new favorite.

I just finished it last night and I thought the book was awesome. The ending could have been better but the twist was pretty good. I think the Di Vinci Code was the best followed by Angels & Demons, then The Lost Symbol. But I read it just because I like the history that Dan Brown brings out of his books. It’s so crazy how he mixes history with symbols. I didn’t want it to end though…

Honestly, I was very disappointed with The Lost Symbol. I had such high expectations before I read it, but in my opinion, it didn’t live up to The Da Vinci Code (my favourite of the three) or Angels and Demons.

It’s funny how at first I thought Mal’akh was the Solomons son then changed my mind , but he was after all. I knew Langdon wouldn’t drown in the oxygenated perfluorocarbon; as if Dan Brown would kill off his most popular character when he plans 8 more books.

I really enjoyed this book. It was different than the previous two, not as big with the whole conspiracy theory. But if you like dan brown, I don’t see how you couldn’t like this

It’s gotten so many bad reviews. I was planning to read it but now I don’t think I’ll bother.
